Worrell Reigns as NJ State Champion in the 100M Butterfly Stroke
Congratulations to sophmore Kelsi Worrell who earned the NJ State Champion spot in the 100 meter Butterfly after winning the event at the NJ State High School Swimming Championship Meet on March 7th. Kelsi also finished 3rd overall in the 100 meter Backstroke. She is the first RV female swimmer to win a state championship title in the history of the school. Congratulations Kelsi!

Congratulations to the Students of the Month!
Congratulations to this quarter's Students of the Month! Teachers honor students by nominating students who have excelled, made a difference or accomplished an individual goal. Nominations are then sent to the entire faculty who vote for two students per quarter. The top three students in each grade are then selected to receive student of the month recognition. This quarter's students of the month include Terrell White, Seth Brown, Lisa D'Errico, Katie Bogert, Alyxis Johnson, Tabitha Sanders, Alyssa Healey, Mallory Cicchino, Tierney Keller, Sara Lemyre, Keron Ifill and Nile Delso. Bru Crew Coffee Shop - Grand Opening!
Congratulations to the employees of the Bru Crew Coffee Shop on a successful Grand Opening on Monday, March 8th. The shop opened its doors to staff only on Monday with a variety of delicious Green Mountain coffee, tea and hot chocolate! The shop is open from 7:45 am - 9:30 am. All items are $1.00.

RV DANCE TEAM EARNS 1st PLACE RECOGNITION IN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
Members of the Rancocas Valley Regional High School Dance Team earned first place honors during this past weekend’s Universal Dance Association National Dance Team Championship in Orlando, FL. This is first time that the team has received top honors on a national level. In addition to the national championship, the team won 1st place in the kick routine and 2nd place in the team dance routine.

Vicky Murtaugh sang Never Alone by Barlowgirl, earning her top honors. She was one of 15 contestants this year. Matt Levine walked away with the Director's Instrumental Award and Andy Feliz earned the Director's Vocal Award! Congratulations

Notice of Special Meetings
The Board of Education will hold three special meetings during the month of March. Budget work sessions will be held on Saturday, March 13th and Saturday, March 20th at 10:00 am. The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 30th, at 7:00 pm. The official letters of notificiation are listed below.

RVRHS Dance Team Earns State Championship Title!
Congratulations to Coach Wagner and the RVRHS dance team on their recent competition performance, earning them another state championship title! Great job to all the individual girls who were entered into the elite dancer competition and a special congrats to the best leaper in the whole state of NJ, Mackenzie Alexander!

2009-2010 Tentative Calendar Adjustments
As a result of a school closing on February 26th due to inclement weather,RVRHS will end its school year on Friday, June 25th. Additional school closings will result in an abbreviated Spring Recess, beginning with Friday, April 9th and working backwards.
